The technical salesperson will develop and manage potential solar project proposals with residential and commercial customers with a focus on designing a system to best fit the customer’s needs. Our ideal candidate would maintain a high degree of technical knowledge with experience translating complex system design in a clear way. This candidate would invest in their customer’s experience and work hard to engage each customer in an honest and transparent way. Technical Sales/Design employees earn a competitive base salary with a generous commission structure. Base $45,000-$60,000 salary plus commissions. Total year-end compensation ranges from $75,000 to $120,000+ for annual sales between 350 and 900 kW. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and 401k benefits are offered to all full-time employees. This position includes a company vehicle and cell phone stipend. Western Solar offers a $1,000/year educational stipend for authorized continuing education classes/course material.
