In preparation for upcoming commercial projects, the Western Solar installation crew has completed essential aerial lift and telehandler training. In May, the team took to the outdoor grounds at Birchwood Equipment in Bellingham, Washington, for an educational session-packed day led by their professional instructors. With exciting projects involving a multi-building installation with Bellingham Public Schools and more in the Western Solar pipeline, the acquired skills elevate our installers to a new level of expertise.
At Western Solar, we are focused on providing high-quality solar panel installations with integrity and craftsmanship. It all starts from your first conversation with us, and lasts beyond the day your systems are installed, which features up to 25 year warranties on materials and labor. We support our employees by offering an annual stipend of up to $1,000 for continued education, encompassing a range of courses that includes project management, writing, and software applications, along with additional studies in solar photovoltaic principles.
Continued education ensures our team can confidently demonstrate safety and professionalism within their work. Other types of training our installation crew have completed include CPR and first aid, heavy equipment training, and CITC (Construction Industry Training Council) training. Our crew being provided this training not only creates safer job sites but also greater flexibility to take on more complex projects.
The training our crew completes is not just a necessity for our business; it’s a commitment to provide our customers with the highest quality work possible. We don’t just build amazing solar and energy storage systems, but amazing solar professionals!
