The first step in designing your system involves sizing it appropriately for your electricity needs. Please download and send us your Puget Sound Energy electricity bill totals as a CSV file, along with a PDF or photos of a recent PSE bill (front and back). These can all be found in your online PSE account, via the steps outlined below.
These steps are current as of January 2025.
Step 1: Sign in with PSE
Go to pse.com and login to your online account.
If you don’t already have an online account, it’s a great opportunity to create one!
Step 2: View Usage
Once you sign in, you’ll be on your main account page. Select “My Usage” in the Menu bar.
Step 3: Green Button
On your energy usage page, scroll down to the bottom of the graph and click “Green Button.”
This will bring up the options for downloading your energy data.
Step 4: Export bill totals
Confirm the time period is set to “Export all bill totals” and the file format is set to CSV, then click “Export” to download the CSV file.
Step 5: Access current bill
Scroll back to the top of the page and select “My Bill” in the same menu as before.
In the lefthand column under the payment buttons, click on “Current bill (PDF).”
Step 6: Save bill
After your PDF bill opens in a new window, select the download button to save it to your computer. This is typically in the upper right, depending on your browser.
Step 7: Send files
Attach both the CSV file from Step 4 and the PDF from Step 6 to an email and send to your Western Solar system designer. If you haven’t connected with our design team yet, you’re welcome to email the information to us at info@westernsolarinc.com and one of our system designers will reach out to you directly.
