In doing so, we hope to elevate the case for renewable energy in our region and contribute to decreasing our country’s dependence on fossil fuels and its contribution to global greenhouse gas emissions.

Western Solar was founded in Bellingham, Washington in 2002 and our team leads cumulatively have decades of experience installing several megawatts of solar electric systems throughout the United States.  In addition to our solar electric systems, we also specialize in battery backup solutions, electric vehicle charging stations, and ductless heat pumps. Our electricians are NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) Certified, while our management leads our state’s solar trade organization, Washington Solar Energy Industries Association (WASEIA), helping to shape energy policy and ensure our customers have the most current industry information. Our staff are dedicated, pursuing a vocation for clean energy and a love of our region.
