System Design & Technical Sales

We are seeking to add a Technical Salesperson specialized in Solar PV and Energy Storage Systems to our team. The technical salesperson will develop and manage potential solar and energy storage project proposals with residential customers, with a focus on designing a system to best fit the customer’s needs.

Our ideal candidate will maintain a high degree of technical knowledge and will translate complex system design in a clear way. This candidate will invest in their customer’s experience and work hard to engage each customer in an honest and transparent way.

Solar PV Technician

The PV Technician will be responsible for solar photovoltaic system installation from beginning to end. This position covers installation of all photovoltaic mounting system components, assisting with electrical equipment, and ensuring successful operation of complete photovoltaic systems, while proficiently communicating and updating project status with other staff.

This is an outdoor position requiring work on elevated roofs, in harness, in inclement weather, throughout the year.

General Foreperson

Western Solar is seeking a general foreperson to oversee and train our field crews and crew leads. The purpose of this position is to manage multiple crews simultaneously and in all aspects of construction at Western Solar including solar PV systems, ductless heat pumps, generators, battery backup systems, electrical wiring/retrofits, and other energy efficiency/home energy systems. They will plan and coordinate the efforts of the foremen and crew under his/her supervision and motivate them to accomplish the work safely, correctly and efficiently.

Solar PV Electrician

The PV Electrician will be responsible for the photovoltaic electrical system installation from beginning to end. In this position, the electrician will install all necessary parts and equipment using the industry’s best practices and complete knowledge of the NEC codes and standards.

Office Support & Customer Coordinator

Western Solar is in search of an Office Support & Customer Coordinator We are looking for a proactive and team-oriented person to help ensure our day-to-day activities run smoothly, and provide an outstanding level of service for our customers. This position will be integral to our small office with administrative support to the Office Manager, Director of Operations, and Director of Business Development.

Warehouse Manager

Western Solar is seeking a warehouse manager who will be responsible for managing warehouse operations. This will include all aspects of the warehouse day-to-day tasks such as organizing, planning, receiving, stocking, purchasing, inventory management, and logistics. The warehouse manager’s goal will be to increase operational efficiency and ensure a safe and clean environment. This position requires leadership, team building, attention to detail, innovation, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Top candidates will have experience managing and developing a team of at least three employees, ability to multitask, and be a certified forklift operator.
