The first step in designing your system involves sizing it appropriately for your electricity needs. Please download and send us your Orcas Power and Light Cooperative electricity bill totals, along with a PDF or photos of a recent OPALCO bill (front and back). These can all be found in your online OPALCO account, via the steps outlined below.

Step 1: Sign in with OPALCO
Go to opalco.com and login to your online account.
If you don’t already have an online account, it’s a great opportunity to create one!
Step 2: View Bill Info
Select “Bill & Pay” from the menu on the left.
Step 3: View & Save Bill
Select “Billing History” to display bills from previous months. Under the “Paperless” column, select “View Bill” and download the PDF.
Step 4: Download Usage
Under the “Usage” menu item, select “Usage Explorer” to view and save historical usage data.
Step 7: Send files
Attach files to an email and send to your Western Solar system designer. If you haven’t connected with our design team yet, you’re welcome to email the information to us at info@westernsolarinc.com and one of our system designers will reach out to you directly.
